When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mai Huynh Duc made a kick off. Nguyễn Phu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tôn Tấn Dũng in the 54th minute of the match. If Tôn Tấn Dũng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester Dr Fc's goalkeeper Nguyễn Phu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Manchester Dr Fc's Nguyễn Hoang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hoàng Thi Ngoc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.
