DA NANG's Phạm Tấn Dũng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Pham in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Phan Pham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phạm Tấn Dũng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Phan Dinh made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DA NANG's Phạm Tấn Dũng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 14 minutes, Trần Lan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gia Ngh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Lan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Phan Pham sped through DA NANG's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Phạm Tấn Dũng. After some careless play in the DA NANG defense, Phan Pham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phạm Tấn Dũng. The DA NANG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phạm Tấn Dũng should have stopped the shot. In the 29th match minute, Gia Ngh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phan Pham to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, DA NANG's Lê Hieu got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Lý Nam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phạm Tấn Dũng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phan Pham in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Nguyễn Huynh Duc made a precise shot to the right of Phạm Tấn Dũng. DA NANG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Phạm Tấn Dũng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phan Pham's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Hồ Duc kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Phan Pham made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phan Pham got free with Phạm Tấn Dũng in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phan Dinh was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Gia Ngh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Phan Pham in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Phạm Tấn Dũng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Phan Pham took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Phạm Tấn Dũng to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the match, Phan Pham dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Phạm Tấn Dũng, 0-11. When Phan Dinh came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Gia Ngh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phan Dinh couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lý Nam in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phạm Tấn Dũng saved DA NANG from getting behind. Phan Dinh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Phan Pham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phạm Tấn Dũng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phan Dinh took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phạm Tấn Dũng. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of DA NANG:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gia Ngh:s goal. The goalkeeper, Phạm Tấn Dũng, was totally fooled by Gia Ngh's Nguyễn Huynh Duc, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Phan Dinh kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
