If Đỗ Anh Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th of the match, Đỗ Anh Hung tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nguyễn Phu got in the way and made a wonderful save. Nguyễn Dinh kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Nguyễn Hoang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Đỗ Anh Hung received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nguyễn Phu came out and tried to block the shot, but Đỗ Anh Hung slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mai Huynh Duc in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trần Cuc saved Dream League Soccer from getting behind. Nguyễn Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Cuc having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Manchester Dr Fc got a freekick which was hit by Dương Loc. If Mai Huynh Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mai Huynh Duc was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Dream League Soccer's Vũ Dung sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Phu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mai Huynh Duc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Cuc having to interfere. Nguyễn Phuong charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Phuong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Manchester Dr Fc getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nguyễn Phuong hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Manchester Dr Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Đỗ Anh Hung came free, but Nguyễn Phu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mai Huynh Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Trần Cuc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Manchester Dr Fc a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lê Diem, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dream League Soccer's Trần Cuc. 1-3. 80 minutes into the game, Mai Huynh Duc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trần Cuc. Mai Huynh Duc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Mai Huynh Duc struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Trần Cuc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester Dr Fc. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Mai Huynh Duc took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Trần Cuc to make any attempt to save it.
