Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Trần Tho made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Kontum defense, Lương Lam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hoàng Thi Ngoc. The Kontum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hoàng Thi Ngoc should have stopped the shot. Lưu Phong charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lưu Phong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Trần Than kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Tôn Tấn Dũng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Huỳnh Tuan made a huge save. After 12 played minutes Hòa Binh FC got a freekick which was hit by Vương Duong. Trần Tho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huỳnh Tuan having to interfere. Hoàng Thi Ngoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lương Lam in the 15th minute of play. Lương Lam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Dinh in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hoàng Thi Ngoc saved Kontum from getting behind. Trần Tho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lương Lam scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hoàng Thi Ngoc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34thth minute of the game Lương Lam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kontum's Hoàng Thi Ngoc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tôn Tấn Dũng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Hòa Binh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lưu Phong to maneuver through the defense. When Lương Lam came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Hòa Binh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lương Lam couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kontum's Trần Minh-ha got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Nguyễn Chi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hoàng Thi Ngoc skillfully saved the ball. The Kontum players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hòa Binh FC were winning 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Dinh to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Dinh in the 52nd minute of play forced Kontum's goalkeeper Hoàng Thi Ngoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tôn Tấn Dũng struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Huỳnh Tuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kontum. Trần Tho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tôn Tấn Dũng in the 56th minute of play forced Hòa Binh FC's goalkeeper Huỳnh Tuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lương Lam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hoàng Thi Ngoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huỳnh Tuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trần Tho went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Hoàng Thi Ngoc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lương Lam in the 67th minute. After 71 played minutes Hòa Binh FC got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Chi. If Trần Tho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Dinh recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hoàng Thi Ngoc. Nguyễn Dinh showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Kontum's Trần Tho got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Dinh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoàng Thi Ngoc having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Trần Tho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huỳnh Tuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Tho in the 96th minute of play forced Hòa Binh FC's goalkeeper Huỳnh Tuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hòa Binh FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
