Spectators: 8513 (Terracing: 6432, Seating: 1971, VIP seats: 110) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Thai started the match with the kick off. Nguyễn Tinh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Nguyễn Tinh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mai Tran. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. An Gian's Nguyễn Tinh got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hồ Nga came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the An Gian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hồ Nga couldn't finish the play. Mai Tran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Tinh in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trần Duong during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute of the match, Vũ Quang Thanh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mai Tran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Nguyễn Tinh came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the An Gian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Tinh couldn't finish the play. Mai Tran was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Nguyễn Tinh capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nguyễn Tinh really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to An Gian getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nguyễn Van Quyen hit a great ball. Trần Cadeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huỳnh Huy in the 37th minute of the match. Mai Tran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Tinh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Nguyễn Binh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Officer Doofy Techno Lab and the An Gian players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, An Gian's Nguyễn Nam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mai Tran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nguyễn Tinh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mai Tran having to interfere. Lê Thuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mai Tran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nguyễn Tinh made the kick off in the second half. Lê Ho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mai Tran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After taking down the ball on An Gian's corner Lê Ho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mai Tran quite easily take care of the ball. If Hồ Nga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Officer Doofy Techno Lab's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Tinh came free, but Mai Tran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An Gian's Trần Cadeo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save An Gian from getting a goal against them. Trần Cadeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Thai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Tran came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by An Gian's Nguyễn Tinh. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Tinh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Nguyễn Tinh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mai Tran having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Tinh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mai Tran. Officer Doofy Techno Lab's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Tinh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Mai Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Nam in the 75th minute of the match. Nguyễn Tinh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mai Tran having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phạm Thanh during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Officer Doofy Techno Lab fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! 83 minutes into the game, An Gian's Nguyễn Tinh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mai Tran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Nguyễn Tinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mai Tran came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by An Gian's Nguyễn Nam. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Nam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Lê Ho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mai Tran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Tinh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mai Tran. Officer Doofy Techno Lab's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Tinh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. When the referee ended the match the An Gian players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
