Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, An Gian's Nguyễn Tinh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nguyễn Nam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Lâm Thanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vũ Quang Thanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nguyễn Nam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lam Dong's Nguyễn Nam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Tinh in the 11th minute of play. When Hồ Nga came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the An Gian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hồ Nga couldn't finish the play. Lê Hong Minh charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lê Hong Minh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Lam Dong got a freekick which was hit by Lê Hong Minh. Nguyễn Nam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tinh in the 15th minute of the match. An Gian's Trần Cadeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lâm Thanh in the 17th minute of play. Nguyễn Tinh took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Nam. Nguyễn Nam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Tinh in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Nam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Lam Dong's Trần Thi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 26 played minutes Lam Dong got a freekick which was hit by Lê Thai. After 28 minutes of play, An Gian's Nguyễn Tinh made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Nam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nguyễn Nam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Tinh's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Nguyễn Nam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Tinh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Nguyễn Tinh managed to get in a good position for a shot. An Gian's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Tinh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Nam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the game, An Gian's Nguyễn Tinh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lê Ho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Nam having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Trần Thanh Bình hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes, Lam Dong's Trần Thi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trần Cadeo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lam Dong reached it. When Hồ Ho fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lam Dong's protests and gave Hồ Ho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, one of Lam Dong:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lam Dong.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Tinh made the kick off in the second half. If Nguyễn Tinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nguyễn Nam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Tinh in the 69th minute of play. Hồ Nga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Nam having to make a save. Trần Cadeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lê Thai, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Lam Dong's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Nguyễn Tinh scored to the left of an out of position Nguyễn Nam, making the score, 0-7. An Gian's Lê Ho got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Tinh struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Nguyễn Nam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for An Gian. Lê Ho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nguyễn Tinh did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Nguyễn Nam 84 minutes into the match. Đặng Than took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trần Cadeo. Trần Cadeo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. An Gian's Trần Cadeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Hong Minh in the 93rd minute of play. Nguyễn Nam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Tinh went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. An Gian's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
