Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nguyễn Thai kicked off to start the match. Nguyễn Nam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Thai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Lâm Thanh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Tran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lam Dong's zone, Nguyễn Thai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Nam came out of the goal and Nguyễn Thai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Binh charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Binh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lâm Thanh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mai Tran having to make a save. If Trần Thi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Officer Doofy Techno Lab defense, Lâm Thanh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mai Tran. The Officer Doofy Techno Lab fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mai Tran should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Trần Dinh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nguyễn Nam was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lâm Thanh made a kick off. Nguyễn Thai hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Officer Doofy Techno Lab's goal looked a bit too open when Lâm Thanh came free, but Mai Tran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Lâm Thanh rounded Officer Doofy Techno Lab's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Officer Doofy Techno Lab. Lý Than hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Huỳnh Huy came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Officer Doofy Techno Lab fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huỳnh Huy couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lâm Thanh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mai Tran. That made the score 2-5 in the 84 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Trần Thi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lam Dong's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Thi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mai Tran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Lâm Thanh took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Mai Tran to make any attempt to save it. If Trần Thi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lam Dong's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
