Lam Dong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lâm Thanh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trần Thi struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Trần Bien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lam Dong. Lý Than's late challenge caught a HA NOI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lý Than helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Lam Dong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lý Than to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Trần Thi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Bien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lâm Thanh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Bien having to interfere. Lam Dong were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of HA NOI for a fine match.
