Nguyễn Binh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hoa Binh's Nguyễn Binh got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lê Hong Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoa Binh's goalkeeper Lâm Tu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Lam Dong's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Binh came free, but Nguyễn Nam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Binh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Nam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Hoa Binh's Lâm Tu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lâm Thanh in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Vương Duc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nguyễn Nam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 31st minute, Hoa Binh's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Trần Thi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lương Dung hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Nam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vương Duc in the 35th minute of the match. Trần Thi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 43rd playminute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Vương Duc made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Lê Thai suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Nguyễn Hoang's late challenge caught a Lam Dong's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Hoang helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hoa Binh getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nguyễn Hoang hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Lam Dong's Trần Thi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Lam Dong's Lê Hong Minh got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nguyễn Thai, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Lam Dong's goal looked a bit too open when Vương Duc came free, but Nguyễn Nam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Trần Thi put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lâm Tu. Nguyễn Binh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Nam having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Binh got free with Nguyễn Nam in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rdth minute of the game Vương Duc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lam Dong's Nguyễn Nam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Nam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vương Duc, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Lam Dong's goal looked a bit too open when Vương Duc came free, but Nguyễn Nam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bùi Huỳnh's late challenge caught a Hoa Binh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bùi Huỳnh helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes into the match, Hoa Binh's Nguyễn Binh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Nam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lam Dong's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
