Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, RPT AK's goal looked a bit too open when Ngô Hoai came free, but Phạm Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Trần Khoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Trần Minh Phượng sped through Tan An's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trần Khoi. Phạm Diem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ngô Hoai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RPT AK's Phạm Diem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save RPT AK from getting a goal against them. Phạm Diem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Ritchell in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Trần Minh Phượng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RPT AK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Minh Phượng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Tan scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Khoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Trần Minh Phượng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trần Khoi. Tan An's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trần Minh Phượng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Nguyễn Bay fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tan An's protests and gave Nguyễn Bay a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tan An getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nguyễn Bay hit a great ball. When Nguyễn Tuyet fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RPT AK's protests and gave Nguyễn Tuyet a yellow card for diving instead. Nguyễn Tuyet kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Phạm Diem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hoàng Huynh Duc in the 44th minute. The long shot by Phan Huỳnh in the 46th minute really tested Phạm Diem's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Tan An players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RPT AK were winning 1-3.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Ritchell made the kick off in the second half. Ngô Hoai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Phạm Diem. RPT AK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nguyễn Bay hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Lê Teo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 56th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Ritchell in the 58th minute of play forced RPT AK's goalkeeper Phạm Diem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Ritchell in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phạm Diem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phạm Diem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Ritchell went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After 67 minutes, Lê Teo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tan An and the RPT AK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tan An's Lê Teo got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Ritchell notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of RPT AK's Phạm Diem. Phạm Diem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 78 played minutes, Tan An's Lê Teo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Phạm Diem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tan An reached it. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Nguyễn Tuyet took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Trần Khoi to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the RPT AK defense, Hoàng Huynh Duc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phạm Diem. The RPT AK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phạm Diem should have stopped the shot. If Hoàng Huynh Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phạm Diem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ngô Hoai in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, RPT AK's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Huynh Duc came free, but Phạm Diem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bùi Lan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
