Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 150) PADFC's Tạ Phu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. PADFC's Trần Xuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huỳnh Minh-ha in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th of the match, Tạ Phu tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bùi Nguyet got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 14th minute, Trần Hoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute of the match Nguyễn Thanh Bình sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trần Xuan skillfully saved the ball. Tay Ninh's Phạm Tho got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trần Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huỳnh Minh-ha in the 21st minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, PADFC's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Hoa came free, but Trần Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phạm Tho in the 39th minute of play forced PADFC's goalkeeper Trần Xuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trần Hoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trần Hoa to make the kick off. Trần Xuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Hoa in the 52nd minute of the match. Huỳnh Minh-ha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Trần Xuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huỳnh Minh-ha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tạ Phu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Huỳnh Minh-ha struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Trần Xuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tay Ninh. PADFC's Trần Xuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save PADFC from getting a goal against them. Trần Xuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huỳnh Minh-ha in the 89th minute. Tay Ninh's Bùi Nguyet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tạ Phu in the 97th minute of play. Tay Ninh played a much better game than PADFC and deserved their victory. The PADFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
