After 14 played minutes, RPT AK's Phan Huỳnh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trần Xuan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RPT AK reached it. Phạm Diem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tạ Phu in the 18th minute of play. If Phan Dung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RPT AK's Phạm Diem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tạ Phu in the 27th minute of play. Phạm Diem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Lan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes, RPT AK's Phan Huỳnh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trần Xuan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Trần Minh Phượng managed to get in a good position for a shot. RPT AK's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Minh Phượng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Xuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Trần Minh Phượng made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, PADFC's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Minh Phượng came free, but Trần Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trần Xuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Tuyet went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Nguyễn Tuyet charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Tuyet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PADFC booed when RPT AK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Tuyet didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tạ Phu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trần Minh Phượng in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Xuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Tuyet hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, RPT AK's Phạm Diem got control of the ball when Đoàn Diem tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the PADFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RPT AK.
