The supporters of FC GOCCAY booed when Ha Noi F.C.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Phuoc didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC GOCCAY's Lê Tuyet got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Huỳnh Tu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nguyễn Thi. With his leg Huỳnh Tu managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when FC GOCCAY's Nguyễn Nam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Nguyễn Loc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huỳnh Tu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Tuyet in the 36th minute of play. Nguyễn Dung hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Nguyễn Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC GOCCAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Nam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huỳnh Tu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huỳnh Tu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Tuyet in the 46th minute of the match. A hard shot 47 in the game by Nguyễn Nam from a close distance when the talented Huỳnh Tu managed to make a qualified save. Ha Noi F.C.V.'s players were relieved. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Lê Tuyet made the kick off in the second half. The FC GOCCAY fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when FC GOCCAY's Lê Tuyet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Nguyễn Loc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Tuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Huỳnh Tu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huỳnh Tu came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC GOCCAY's Lê Tuyet. But to his dismay, Lê Tuyet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, FC GOCCAY's Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh got a free kick in the 68th minute. Phạm Thanh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Loc in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Nam in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huỳnh Tu saved Ha Noi F.C.V. from getting behind. Nguyễn Loc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Thanh having to interfere. Nguyễn Thanh hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Nguyễn Nam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huỳnh Tu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Nguyễn Thanh kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Lê Tuyet managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC GOCCAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Lê Tuyet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huỳnh Tu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the FC GOCCAY players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
