Spectators: 5964 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lê Phu got the match started through his kick off. Đặng Minh Phượng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Thuy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lê Tran kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Mai Thuy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Đặng Minh Phượng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dương Liem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lê Phu in the 9th minute. Lê Phu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dương Liem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Vũ Hanh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Easup United and the MASEW players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vũ Hanh hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes, MASEW's Lê Thi Ngoc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Đặng Minh Phượng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MASEW reached it. Easup United's attack was well implemented in the 23rd minute, but when Nguyễn Chuong was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 25 minutes of play, MASEW's Mai Thuy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Đặng Minh Phượng was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Mai Thuy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Đặng Minh Phượng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 35 played minutes Easup United got a freekick which was hit by Lê Phu. A collision led to Easup United getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lê Tran hit a great ball. After the first half MASEW were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mai Thuy to make the kick off. Đặng Minh Phượng made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Nguyễn Chuong sent off a good shot on target. Nguyễn Chuong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Đặng Minh Phượng made a huge save. Easup United's Đặng Minh Phượng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chung Hung in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, MASEW's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Phu came free, but Dương Liem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Vũ Hanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Đặng Minh Phượng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Thuy in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Chuong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Đặng Minh Phượng. Nguyễn Chuong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Easup United's Nguyễn Chuong got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match, Nguyễn Chuong got a very nice opportunity to score, but Đặng Minh Phượng was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of MASEW booed when Easup United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phạm Tho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Đặng Minh Phượng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chung Hung in the 81st minute of play. Lê Tran's late challenge caught a MASEW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lê Tran helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Easup United got a freekick which was hit by Lê Tran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mai Thuy in the 84th minute of play forced Easup United's goalkeeper Đặng Minh Phượng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Nguyễn Chuong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MASEW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 88th match minute, MASEW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Võ Phuong to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MASEW eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
