Seating: 1972, VIP seats: 120) Bùi Anh Hung started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nguyễn Than struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Vũ Hoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kim Lien. After 4th play minutes Bùi Anh Hung shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Vũ Hoa and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 7th minute, Nguyễn Huynh Duc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Đặng Hong Minh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kim Lien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Nguyễn Phuc was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. Vũ Hoa went to the wrong direction when Phạm Lan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Kim Lien's Iwan Bronkala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phạm Nam in the 17th minute of play. Bac Kan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lê Tuan in the 18th minute. Vương Teo made a great header on Bac Kan's corner, it was just that Kim Lien's Iwan Bronkala managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Kim Lien's Nguyễn Than slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vũ Hoa. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bac Kan's zone, Bùi Anh Hung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vũ Hoa came out of the goal and Bùi Anh Hung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Đặng Hong Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vũ Hoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vũ Hoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bùi Anh Hung's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes, Vương Teo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bac Kan and the Kim Lien players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bùi Anh Hung did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Vũ Hoa 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kim Lien's Phạm Phu got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Phạm Nam made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Hung during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nguyễn Hung kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Kim Lien's Lê Tuan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vũ Hoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kim Lien reached it. After 58 minutes, Bùi Anh Hung made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bac Kan's Vũ Hoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kim Lien's Nguyễn Khoi was substituted for Nguyễn Than. After 74 played minutes Bac Kan got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Minh. With a little luck, Kim Lien's Iwan Bronkala got control of the ball when Phạm Nam tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kim Lien's zone, Phạm Nam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Bronkala came out of the goal and Phạm Nam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Bùi Anh Hung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bac Kan's Vũ Hoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Kim Lien's Bùi Anh Hung made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vũ Hoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90thth minute of the game Bùi Anh Hung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bac Kan's Vũ Hoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Khoi struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vũ Hoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kim Lien. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bac Kan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kim Lien.
