Seating: 1984, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mai Thuy kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Phạm Lan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Kim Lien's Bùi Anh Hung slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dương Liem. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Dương Liem was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Nguyễn Than capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nguyễn Than really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Dương Liem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Than, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dương Liem came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kim Lien's Nguyễn Than. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Than quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, MASEW's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Than came free, but Dương Liem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Bronkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Thuy, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mai Thuy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iwan Bronkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Chuong, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Mai Thuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Iwan Bronkala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Bùi Anh Hung reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dương Liem. The goal made the score 4-0. MASEW's Dương Liem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Than in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bùi Anh Hung to make the kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Phạm Lan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kim Lien! Kim Lien:s Iwan Bronkala showed great skill when he stopped Mai Thuy:s penalty. A collision led to Kim Lien getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Phạm Phu hit a great ball. Dương Liem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Than in the 60th minute of play. When Kim Lien's Hoàng Than in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MASEW's goalie prevented a goal. Iwan Bronkala was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Chung Hung capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chung Hung really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Nguyễn Chuong's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Iwan Bronkala skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Iwan Bronkala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Thuy, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 92 minutes into the game, Bùi Teo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MASEW's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kim Lien the free kick. After a rather tough play, MASEW's Bùi Teo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Hoàng Than left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kim Lien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Kim Lien walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
