AnHugo's Phan Chung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Hoang in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Bac Kan booed when AnHugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Huỳnh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phan Chung acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nguyễn Hieu. Nguyễn Than recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bac Kan's Nguyễn Huynh Duc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Phan Chung. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, AnHugo's goalkeeper Phan Chung had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Huynh Duc. The supporters of Bac Kan booed when AnHugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Lan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot was a little too simple and Phan Chung could save by the left post. Phan Chung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Hung in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Than in the 46th minute of play forced AnHugo's goalkeeper Phan Chung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phạm Nam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lê Chung to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, AnHugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Lan to maneuver through the defense. Phạm Chi charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phạm Chi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of AnHugo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bac Kan:s goal. The referee gave Bac Kan a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lê Tuan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AnHugo's Phan Chung. 2-0. After 67 played minutes AnHugo got a freekick which was hit by Trần Huỳnh. If Phạm Nam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Nguyễn Huynh Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 88th minute Nguyễn Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phan Chung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bac Kan's Nguyễn Huynh Duc suffered a sore thigh after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 88 minutes, Trần Huỳnh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AnHugo and the Bac Kan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, AnHugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Huỳnh to maneuver through the defense. Phan Chung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phạm Nam in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97thth minute of the game Nguyễn Hung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AnHugo's Phan Chung was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bac Kan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
