Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bùi Anh Hung kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes, Đặng Hong Minh made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cam Ranh's Bùi Hoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Võ Thanh Bình was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kim Lien's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cam Ranh the free kick. Cam Ranh's Bùi Hoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Cam Ranh from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Nguyễn Teo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Bronkala was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Teo in the 19th minute of play forced Kim Lien's goalkeeper Iwan Bronkala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Kim Lien's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Teo came free, but Iwan Bronkala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kim Lien booed when Cam Ranh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Nam didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Đặng Hong Minh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bùi Hoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Kim Lien's Nguyễn Than ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bùi Hoa. Bùi Hoa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. When Cam Ranh's Nguyễn Teo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kim Lien's goalie prevented a goal. Đặng Hong Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bùi Hoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Teo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Kim Lien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Quang Thanh to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bùi Anh Hung in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bùi Hoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Khoi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bùi Anh Hung in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bùi Hoa saved Cam Ranh from getting behind. The supporters of Kim Lien booed when Cam Ranh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phạm Tran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Cam Ranh's Tôn Chi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tôn Chi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cam Ranh protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tôn Chi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tôn Chi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Hanh charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Hanh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cam Ranh! 71 minutes into the game, Kim Lien's Phạm Lan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bùi Hoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After 76 played minutes Cam Ranh got a freekick which was hit by Phạm Tran. After having played for 79 minutes, Hoàng Than managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kim Lien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hoàng Than was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Khoi in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bùi Hoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Bùi Anh Hung ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bùi Hoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Đặng Hong Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bùi Hoa having to interfere. Nguyễn Hanh kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Kim Lien walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
