The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ngô Chung to strike the kick off in the second half. Lê Bien in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Dao Phuong's Lê Bien made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Tra Vinh's Nguyễn Minh got a free kick in the 89th minute. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Phan Tuan. Tra Vinh's Phan Hanh got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
