The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tạ Thi Ngoc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huỳnh Chung in the 3rd minute. If Đào Hoai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Phạm Nhật Minh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Hoai in the 11th minute of play forced Buon Ma Thuot's goalkeeper Trần Tuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Flash United F.C. booed when Buon Ma Thuot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bùi Hoai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trần Lien took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Trần Tuan. Buon Ma Thuot's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Trương Minh-ha kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Phạm Minh-ha took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tạ Thi Ngoc to make any attempt to save it. Tạ Thi Ngoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phạm Minh-ha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Đào Hoai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Nam in the 33rd minute of play forced Flash United F.C.'s goalkeeper Tạ Thi Ngoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Đào Hoai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Trần Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trần Tuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trương Minh-ha, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Trần Tuan came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Flash United F.C.'s Trần Lien. But to his dismay, Trần Lien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Buon Ma Thuot's Trần Tuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Lien in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Trần Lien made a precise shot to the right of Trần Tuan. Buon Ma Thuot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Đào Hoai to strike the kick off in the second half. Trần Tuan made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Đào Hoai sent off a good shot on target. If Trần Lien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Đào Hoai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Hoai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Đào Hoai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flash United F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Đào Hoai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Tuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trần Tuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Đào Hoai's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Đào Hoai struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Trần Tuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flash United F.C.. Flash United F.C.'s Đào Hoai got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Đào Hoai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trần Tuan. Buon Ma Thuot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Đào Hoai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Trần Lien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Tuan having to interfere. Trần Tuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đào Hoai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flash United F.C.'s Vũ Ritchell got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Đào Hoai scored 1-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Tuan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Flash United F.C.'s Trần Lien got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, Flash United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vũ Ritchell to maneuver through the defense. Flash United F.C. played a much better game than Buon Ma Thuot and deserved their victory. The Buon Ma Thuot players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
