Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Buon Ma Thuot's Huỳnh Chung got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 minutes of play, Leicester City's Ngô Tuan Hoang made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trần Tuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Huỳnh Chung could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Lê Duy however easily saved by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Buon Ma Thuot's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Hoa came free, but Trần Tuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Phạm Minh-ha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Hoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Leicester City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Huỳnh Chung fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leicester City's Lê Duy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phạm Minh-ha in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Buon Ma Thuot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huỳnh Chung to maneuver through the defense. Ngô Tuan Hoang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Trần Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trần Tuan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester City's Lê Nam. But to his dismay, Lê Nam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lê Duy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phạm Minh-ha's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Huỳnh Chung recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Phạm Minh-ha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buon Ma Thuot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phạm Minh-ha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

54 minutes into the game, Huỳnh Chung cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lê Duy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Vũ Van Tai Em's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trần Tuan was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. If Huỳnh Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lê Nam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Buon Ma Thuot's Trần Tuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Nam in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, one of Buon Ma Thuot:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buon Ma Thuot. Huỳnh Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ngô Tuan Hoangs short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Trần Tuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Phạm Nhật Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buon Ma Thuot's goalkeeper Trần Tuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ngô Tuan Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Hoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trần Tuan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Hoa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute of the match, Nguyễn Hoa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Trần Tuan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute, Nguyễn Hoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trần Tuan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Trần Xuan put in a rough tackle. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leicester City! The referee gave Buon Ma Thuot a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nguyễn Phuoc, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leicester City's Lê Duy. 2-5. The Leicester City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
