Seating: 1960, VIP seats: 95) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ngô Tuan made the kick off which started today's match. 12 minutes into the game, Đặng Chi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nguyễn Huynh Duc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 minutes, Nguyễn Liem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Binh Dinh and the Tuyen Quang players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nguyễn Liem hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Binh Dinh! Lê Phuoc placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Lê Minh Phượng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Võ Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tuyen Quang booed when Binh Dinh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Liem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ngô Tuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Binh Dinh's Võ Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Minh Phượng in the 29th minute of play. Lương Thanh Bình hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Huynh Duc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from La Hung in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th play minute Ngô Tuan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Võ Tan. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Đặng Chi to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Cadeo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tuyen Quang's Nguyễn Huynh Duc. Nguyễn Huynh Duc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Hung's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nguyễn Huynh Duc firmly grabbed it by the left post. Đoàn Tuan Hoang hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Loc during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nguyễn Liem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Nguyễn Hieu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Binh Dinh's Nguyễn Pham couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tuyen Quang. 77 minutes into the match, Ngô Tuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Võ Tan. Binh Dinh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ngô Tuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 83rd minute, Đặng Chi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Binh Dinh's Nguyễn Minh shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nguyễn Huynh Duc but with some difficulty. Lê Minh Phượng's late challenge caught a Binh Dinh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lê Minh Phượng helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Binh Dinh booed when Tuyen Quang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Minh Phượng didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Binh Dinh played a much better game than Tuyen Quang and deserved their victory. The Tuyen Quang players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
