Nguyễn Cuc in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nguyễn Xuan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 41st minute of the match, Trần Bay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nguyễn Xuan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. manchester united's Nguyễn Xuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Bay in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Trần Bay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Xuan was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Lương Chi's late challenge caught a PhuTho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lương Chi helped the player get up and apologised. PhuTho made a substitution. Nguyễn Hoa replaced Trần Bay. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind PhuTho's goalkeeper Dương Lan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nguyễn Xuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Hoa in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of PhuTho booed when manchester united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bùi Ho didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PhuTho had played much better football throughout.
