Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nguyễn Chuong took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nguyễn Tấn Dũng hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Duc in the 8th minute of play forced Kien Giang's goalkeeper Trần Dong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Phan Duc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kien Giang's Trần Dong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liễu Hoa took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trần Lam. Trần Lam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Chuong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trần Lam. Nguyễn Chuong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phan Duc in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Dong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Phan Duc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trần Dong was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Trần Lam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Chuong, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Phan Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Trần Dong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kien Giang's Văn Hoang got a free kick in the 36th minute. Phan Duc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 61st minute, Phùng Chung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trần Lam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liễu Hoa in the 64th minute of play. Phùng Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liễu Hoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Lam having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liễu Hoa in the 73rd minute of play forced ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★'s goalkeeper Trần Lam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kien Giang's Hoàng Pham got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trần Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liễu Hoa in the 84th minute of the match.
