Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 10) Hoàng Chung made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Ngô Lan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lê Hoai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lê Hoai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ngô Lan's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Lê Hoai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoàng Chung in the 12th minute of play. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Lê Hoai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ngô Lan in the 13th minute of play. Lê Hoai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hoàng Chung, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lê Hoai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hoàng Chung in the 17th minute of the match. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Lê Hoai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ngô Lan in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Chung Lan got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Dan FC got a freekick which was hit by Trần Diem. Lê Hoai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoàng Chung in the 26th minute of play. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Lê Hoai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hoàng Chung in the 28th minute of play. The throw-in from Lê Thi in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Nguyễn Quang Thanh. In the 36th minute of the match Chung Lan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lê Phuc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Vũ Ho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lê Phuc was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Nguyễn Quang Thanh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Quang Thanh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lê Phuc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lê Phuc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vũ Ho went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

55 minutes into the match, Trần Diem dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lê Hoai, 1-2. Vũ Ho scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lê Phuc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Quang Thanh struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Lê Phuc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ba Ria Vung Tau FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vũ Ho in the 68th minute of play forced Dan FC's goalkeeper Lê Phuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Quang Thanh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Huỳnh Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Phuc came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Vũ Ho. But to his dismay, Vũ Ho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. If Vũ Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Hoai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hoàng Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Nguyễn Quang Thanh got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's attack was well implemented in the 93rd minute, but when Vũ Ho was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 94 minutes into the match, Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's Nguyễn Quang Thanh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lê Phuc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lê Phuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vũ Ho in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Dan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vũ Ho came free, but Lê Phuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ba Ria Vung Tau FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
