Nghiêm Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Phuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nghiêm Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Phuc in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Hoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nghiêm Minh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Hoàng Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nghiêm Minh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, D Suneil's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Hong came free, but Nghiêm Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nghiêm Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Phuc in the 27th minute of the match. Nghiêm Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Hoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Trần Nam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nghiêm Minh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nguyễn Phuc took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nghiêm Minh. Nghiêm Minh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 48 played minutes, Buon Ma Thuot's Nguyễn Thi Ngoc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nghiêm Minh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buon Ma Thuot reached it. After the first half Buon Ma Thuot were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nguyễn Phuc made the kick off in the second half. If Nguyễn Phuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nghiêm Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Phuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Buon Ma Thuot's Nguyễn Phuc in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Hoàng Hong got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With an all-out effort, Buon Ma Thuot's Nghiêm Minh threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nguyễn Phuc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the match, D Suneil's Nguyễn Van Quyen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Huỳnh Hong Minh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Huỳnh Hong Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Van Quyen in the 79th minute of play. Nghiêm Minh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Phuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, D Suneil's Nghiêm Minh got control of the ball when Hoàng Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Hoàng Binh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Nghiêm Minh managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Buon Ma Thuot's Hoàng Hong fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Buon Ma Thuot left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than D Suneil.
