Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Thai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Trần Dong made a huge save. If Trần Dinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Chuong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Võ Nga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 13 minutes on the clock, Nguyễn Khoi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Feerder:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kien Giang:s goal. 17 minutes into the match, Hoàng Pham notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Feerder's Nguyễn Thi Ngoc. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Kien Giang's Phạm Huy got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bùi Huynh Duc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phùng Chung, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Phùng Chung had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After a rather tough play, Feerder's Võ Nga got a free kick in the 29th minute. Kien Giang's Văn Hoang couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Feerder. Nguyễn Chuong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Liễu Hoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Thai in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trần Dong saved Kien Giang from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liễu Hoa to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Tuan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Feerder's Nguyễn Thanh quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 66 minutes into the match, Kien Giang's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Thai came free, but Trần Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Liễu Hoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Dong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Thai in the 71st minute of play. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc was a little too slow when Liễu Hoa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-2. 79 minutes into the match, Feerder's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Pham came free, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hoàng Pham in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Trần Tu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Bùi Chuong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kien Giang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feerder the free kick. Bùi Chuong hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Thai notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Kien Giang's Trần Dong. Trần Dong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
