Trần Lam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trần Lam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trần Lam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Thai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Bùi Duc sent off a good shot on target. ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★'s Trần Lam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Dinh in the 24th minute of play. Phạm Mai's late challenge caught a ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phạm Mai helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Feerder got a freekick which was hit by Phạm Mai. A collision led to Feerder getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nguyễn Thai hit a great ball. Trần Nga got in the 35th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Trần Lam handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Thai during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feerder's Nguyễn Thai got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trần Lam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Thai's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, ★☭VNĐ✯1975☭★'s goal looked a bit too open when Trần Dinh came free, but Trần Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Feerder were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Thai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Bùi Quang Thanh in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Feerder's Trần Dinh. In the 78th minute Nguyễn Thai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Feerder's Nguyễn Thai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phan Duc in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Feerder's Trần Dinh got a free kick in the 95th minute. Feerder's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
