In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buon Ma Thuot's goalkeeper Huỳnh Hong Minh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Trần Nam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buon Ma Thuot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feerder the free kick. The supporters of Feerder booed when Buon Ma Thuot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Nam didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Buon Ma Thuot getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Hoàng Hong hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Buon Ma Thuot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hoa to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Thai took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huỳnh Hong Minh. Huỳnh Hong Minh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Phuc in the 18th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Nguyễn Thai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buon Ma Thuot's Huỳnh Hong Minh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Nguyễn Thai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huỳnh Hong Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huỳnh Hong Minh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Thai's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Feerder's Nguyễn Thi Ngoc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Feerder from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Feerder's goalkeeper Nguyễn Thi Ngoc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hoàng Hong. Buon Ma Thuot's Huỳnh Hong Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Thai in the 36th minute of play. When Feerder's Nguyễn Thai in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buon Ma Thuot's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Feerder's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Phuc came free, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Feerder defense, Hoàng Hong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nguyễn Thi Ngoc. The Feerder fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nguyễn Thi Ngoc should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Hoa during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Buon Ma Thuot getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nguyễn Hoa hit a great ball. When Feerder's Nguyễn Thai in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buon Ma Thuot's goalie prevented a goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Phuc made a kick off. In the 54th minute Nguyễn Phuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buon Ma Thuot's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vương Tuyet in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on Buon Ma Thuot's corner Vương Tuyet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nguyễn Thi Ngoc quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Phuc in the 58th minute of play forced Feerder's goalkeeper Nguyễn Thi Ngoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nguyễn Thai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feerder's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Thai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huỳnh Hong Minh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Trần Tu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Buon Ma Thuot booed when Feerder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Văn Chi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Vương Tuyet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc skillfully saved the ball. Huỳnh Hong Minh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Thai's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes of play Buon Ma Thuot's Nguyễn Hoa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 70th match minute, Buon Ma Thuot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hoa to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes Feerder got a freekick which was hit by Văn Chi. 73 minutes into the match, Feerder's goal looked a bit too open when Vương Tuyet came free, but Nguyễn Thi Ngoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hoàng Hong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huỳnh Hong Minh came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Feerder's Trần Dinh. But to his dismay, Trần Dinh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Huỳnh Hong Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Dinh in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Hoàng Hong made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Thi Ngoc. Feerder's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 86th minute, Nguyễn Thai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Buon Ma Thuot's Hoàng Hong in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Feerder's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute of the match Buon Ma Thuot got a corner. Feerder's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vương Tuyet ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Feerder's Nguyễn Thai got a free kick in the 91st minute. Buon Ma Thuot's Huỳnh Hong Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Thai in the 94th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Feerder failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
