After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nguyễn Bien managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheNoobNewbie's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Bien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Thien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mathis Vendeville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tuyet in the 14th minute of the match. Nguyễn Tuyet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trần Hong Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathis Vendeville having to interfere. In the 24th minute Trần Hong Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathis Vendeville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Minh Phượng charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Minh Phượng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nguyễn Minh Phượng kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Torsten Greps short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Nguyễn Thien to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Hai Duong's Nguyễn Thien got control of the ball when Torsten Grep tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Bien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Nguyễn Thien managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when TheNoobNewbie's Torsten Grep fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nguyễn Thien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torsten Grep in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torsten Grep to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Trần Hong Minh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mathis Vendeville. That made the score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. After 61 minutes, Torsten Grep made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hai Duong's Nguyễn Thien tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Liem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Thien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Nguyễn Bien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Thien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Hai Duong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Hong Minh to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Bien might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Thien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Bien ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hai Duong's Nguyễn Minh Phượng got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mathis Vendeville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Hong Minh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the TheNoobNewbie players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
