Samba's players were relieved. 8 minutes into the match, Vasil Kolyovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nguyễn Chung. Samba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasil Kolyovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nico Decius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Hoang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Samba booed when FC Ronaldo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Văn Thi Ngoc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Bien kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Vasil Kolyovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Chung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasil Kolyovski in the 20th minute of the match. Nguyễn Chung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Viet in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasil Kolyovski in the 28th minute of play forced Samba's goalkeeper Nguyễn Chung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Trần Hoang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Decius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Vasil Kolyovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ronaldo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasil Kolyovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes FC Ronaldo got a freekick which was hit by Huỳnh Hanh. Samba's Nguyễn Phuoc got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Vasil Kolyovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Chung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasil Kolyovski in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Chung prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Vasil Kolyovski made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Chung. Samba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 59 minutes into the match, FC Ronaldo's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Phuoc came free, but Nico Decius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Văn Thi Ngoc hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Võ Quang kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Trần Hoang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nico Decius having to make a save. Nico Decius was a little too slow when Trần Hoang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-1. The audience was convinced that Vasil Kolyovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Chung was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Nguyễn Chung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Viet in the 74th minute of the match. Vasil Kolyovski took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Chung. Nguyễn Chung dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. FC Ronaldo's Nico Decius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Ronaldo from getting a goal against them. Nguyễn Diem took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nico Decius. Nico Decius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Nguyễn Chung didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasil Kolyovski went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Nguyễn Chung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasil Kolyovski in the 91st minute of play. Trần Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Nguyễn Thi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Mai during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Ronaldo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
