Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ngô Minh Phượng made the kick off and thus started the match. If Lê Phu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lê Phu in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nguyễn Tuan saved Ayun Pa from getting behind. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lê Phu sped through Ayun Pa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nguyễn Tuan. Nguyễn Thuyet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Trần Thai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 21 minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Lê Phu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nguyễn Tuan. Ayun Pa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lê Phu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 33 minutes into the match, Viet Tri's goalkeeper Nguyễn Thuyet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Đào Than. Nguyễn Thuyet came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayun Pa's Ngô Minh Phượng. But to his dismay, Ngô Minh Phượng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Trần Viet kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Viet Tri's goal looked a bit too open when Ngô Minh Phượng came free, but Nguyễn Thuyet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Viet Tri got a freekick which was hit by Phan Loc. When Viet Tri's Lê Phu in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ayun Pa's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lê Phu made a kick off. Nguyễn Thuyet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ngô Minh Phượng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phan Loc hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lê Phu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Tuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trần Viet struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nguyễn Thuyet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayun Pa. When Ayun Pa's Ngô Minh Phượng in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Viet Tri's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute, Phan Loc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lê Phu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Viet Tri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lê Phu couldn't finish the play. Trần Viet hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Ayun Pa got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Duong. Lê Phus short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Nguyễn Tuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Thai in the 95th minute of play forced Viet Tri's goalkeeper Nguyễn Thuyet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
