Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trần Thanh started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Lao Baoa's Trần Thanh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Chung narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 9th play minutes Nguyễn Tran shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nguyễn Chung and just under the crossbar into goal. Lê Binh kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Trần Hoang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Liễu Tuyet came out and tried to block the shot, but Trần Hoang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. Lê Binh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Chung having to interfere. Nguyễn Tran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Chung having to interfere. Lao Baoa's Nguyễn Tran got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Samba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dương Dung to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Samba defense, Nguyễn Tran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nguyễn Chung. The Samba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nguyễn Chung should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute Nguyễn Tran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Chung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Tran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Nguyễn Chung was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dương Dung hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Trần Thanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nguyễn Chung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Trần Thanh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Chung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Tran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trần Hoang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Tran got free with Nguyễn Chung in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Trần Hoang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liễu Tuyet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Thanh in the 69th minute of play forced Samba's goalkeeper Nguyễn Chung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Trần Hoang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liễu Tuyet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trần Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trần Thanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nguyễn Chung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liễu Tuyet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Diem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Diem in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liễu Tuyet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lao Baoa's Trần Thanh got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Diem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Liễu Tuyet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
