In the 18th match minute, Hà Nội was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Van Tai Em to maneuver through the defense. Nico Decius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Đặng Hieu Ngan in the 20th minute. Nico Decius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Duc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hoàng Huy during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Hoàng Huy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Văn Thi Ngoc hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Duc got free with Nico Decius in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Đặng Hieu Ngan got free with Nico Decius in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lê Cadeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nico Decius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lê Cadeo to make the kick off. Văn Thi Ngoc kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Trần Ritchell was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Huỳnh Hanh. After 58th play minutes Lê Cadeo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Nico Decius and just under the crossbar into goal. When Vasil Kolyovski came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FC Ronaldo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasil Kolyovski couldn't finish the play. Lê Viet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Trần Ritchell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Đặng Hieu Ngan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nico Decius. Nico Decius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Lê Cadeo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nico Decius. In the 74th minute, Lê Cadeo made a precise shot to the right of Nico Decius. FC Ronaldo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 78th play minute Vasil Kolyovski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Trần Ritchell. 5-1. Nico Decius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Cadeo in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đặng Hieu Ngan in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Ronaldo's goalkeeper Nico Decius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Decius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đặng Hieu Ngan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Đinh Nga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Trần Ritchell made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Cadeo in the 91st minute of play forced FC Ronaldo's goalkeeper Nico Decius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trần Ritchell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Đinh Nga in the 94th minute of play. Lê Van Tai Em got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Hà Nội getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lê Van Tai Em hit a great ball. Hà Nội walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
