Lao Cai 24's Lê Cuc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Lao Cai 24 from getting a goal against them. Phùng Tuans short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Lê Cuc to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 96 minutes into the game, Đỗ Chung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lao Cai 24's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninh Binh the free kick.
