The supporters of Ninh Binh booed when bạn bè was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kader Oper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Minh in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Lương Hoai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Oto in the 46th minute of play forced Ninh Binh's goalkeeper Nguyễn Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Marcelo Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of bạn bè booed when Ninh Binh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Phu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, bạn bè was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tran to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes Ninh Binh got a freekick which was hit by Võ Tuan. Nguyễn Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lê Minh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ninh Binh's Nguyễn Tan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ninh Binh from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Lê Diem could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Nguyễn Tan however easily saved by the left post. bạn bè's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
