Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lê Phu kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Liễu Chi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nguyễn Tan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 35 minutes, Nguyễn Van Tai Em managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Tho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nguyễn Tu fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viet Tri's protests and gave Nguyễn Tu a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Viet Tri got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Tu. In the 87thth minute of the game Phùng Tuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viet Tri's Nguyễn Hoai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Nguyễn Tho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Tan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Tho in the 91st minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
