Huỳnh Minh-ha made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Emiliano Admon sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Emiliano Admon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Huỳnh Minh-ha. Emiliano Admon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 15th minute, Phan Minh Phượng made a precise shot to the right of Huỳnh Minh-ha. Tay Ninh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 20th minute Honorio Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huỳnh Minh-ha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Hoàng Hong Minh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tay Ninh and the An Giang players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hoàng Hong Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Phan Minh Phượng recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Huỳnh Minh-ha. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tay Ninh's goalkeeper Huỳnh Minh-ha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tay Ninh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Honorio Ekialde scored to the left of an out of position Huỳnh Minh-ha, making the score, 5-0. In the 30th minute Honorio Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huỳnh Minh-ha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huỳnh Minh-ha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Admon in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tay Ninh's goalkeeper Huỳnh Minh-ha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Admon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Huỳnh Minh-ha 40 minutes into the match. In the 48th play minute Phan Minh Phượng came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Huỳnh Minh-ha. 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emiliano Admon made the kick off in the second half. When Phan Hong fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tay Ninh's protests and gave Phan Hong a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tay Ninh's Phan Hong got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Honorio Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Rami Ciencabrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Emiliano Admon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huỳnh Minh-ha was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Emiliano Admon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An Giang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Admon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Tay Ninh's Đoàn Thuy threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nguyễn Dung, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Hong in the 67th minute of play forced An Giang's goalkeeper Đoàn Thuy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phan Minh Phượng scored 9-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Huỳnh Minh-ha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Rami Ciencabrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huỳnh Minh-ha was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tay Ninh's zone, Emiliano Admon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huỳnh Minh-ha came out of the goal and Emiliano Admon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phan Minh Phượng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Vũ Bay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huỳnh Minh-ha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Honorio Ekialde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Huỳnh Minh-ha. Tay Ninh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Ekialde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Huỳnh Minh-ha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phan Minh Phượng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nguyễn Dung was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. The supporters of An Giang booed when Tay Ninh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Dung didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Tay Ninh got a freekick which was hit by Lê Nghiêm-Minh. In the 95th minute Rami Ciencabrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huỳnh Minh-ha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rami Ciencabrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Huỳnh Minh-ha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When An Giang's Emiliano Admon in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tay Ninh's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that An Giang were the better team. An Giang's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
