Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Phan Hoa made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Bac Ninh got a freekick which was hit by Phạm Tong. Phan Tho's late challenge caught a Thai Binh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phan Tho helped the player get up and apologised. Phan Tho hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Phan Hoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phan Hoa in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tạ Nga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Phan Hoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tạ Nga was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 12 played minutes Bac Ninh got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Cadeo. The supporters of Bac Ninh booed when Thai Binh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ngô Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mai Minh made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Phan Tho. Bùi Tuan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Ngô Hong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tạ Nga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Tinh in the 27th minute of play. Tạ Nga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phan Hoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Bùi Tuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tạ Nga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Phan Hoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tạ Nga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phan Hoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Nguyễn Tinh might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tạ Nga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Tinh ran back to his position shaking his head.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Viet made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Phan Hoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Thai Binh's Tạ Duc got control of the ball when Phạm Tong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Cadeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tạ Duc having to interfere. When Thai Binh's Phan Hoa in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bac Ninh's goalie prevented a goal. Phan Hoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tạ Nga having to interfere. Nguyễn Tinh might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tạ Nga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Tinh ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the game, Trần Phong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bac Ninh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thai Binh the free kick. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bac Ninh! An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Hoa in the 72nd minute of play forced Bac Ninh's goalkeeper Tạ Nga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tạ Duc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Viet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Phan Hoa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bac Ninh's Tạ Nga. Tạ Nga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 minutes, Phan Hoa made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bac Ninh's Tạ Nga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ngô Hong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tạ Nga having to make a save. Phan Hoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tạ Nga having to interfere. Tạ Nga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phan Hoa's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. Thai Binh's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
