Phan Binh was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Benyamin Gómez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benyamin Gómez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jörn Hammarström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Phan Binh made a huge save. If Jörn Hammarström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when 08ornas FC's Benyamin Gómez in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Phan Binh was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Thai Ngudyen through an amazing save. In the 28th minute, 08ornas FC's Freddie Petersson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Nguyễn Ritchell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Liem in the 31st minute of the match. Freddie Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Leo Blom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Phan Binh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 minutes of play, 08ornas FC's Benyamin Gómez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phan Binh was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Lê Loc hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benyamin Gómez in the 66th minute of play forced Thai Ngudyen's goalkeeper Phan Binh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddie Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Binh having to interfere. Benyamin Gómez scored 7-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phan Binh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Sixto Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Phan Binh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benyamin Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phan Binh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Phan Binh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benyamin Gómez in the 83rd minute of play. Nguyễn Nam charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Nam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Thai Ngudyen got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Nam. Benyamin Gómez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörn Hammarström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Phan Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Trần Thanh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benyamin Gómez took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phan Binh. Phan Binh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 08ornas FC had played much better football throughout.
