Tạ Nga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lê Anh Hung, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Nguyễn Thuy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bac Ninh's Tạ Nga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Viet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đào Chuong having to interfere. Tạ Nga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Anh Hung in the 16th minute of the match. Lê Anh Hung struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tạ Nga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL MARIAD. When Đặng Minh Phượng fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL MARIAD's protests and gave Đặng Minh Phượng a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, REAL MARIAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Đặng Minh Phượng to maneuver through the defense. After 28 minutes, Trần Phong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bac Ninh and the REAL MARIAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bac Ninh's Trần Phong got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lê Anh Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lê Anh Hung made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Bac Ninh got a freekick which was hit by Phan Tho. Tạ Nga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lê Anh Hung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bac Ninh's Phan Tho got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Nguyễn Thuy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tạ Nga made a huge save. A collision led to Bac Ninh getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Phan Tho hit a great ball. Bac Ninh's Tạ Nga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Anh Hung in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Nguyễn Phuong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of REAL MARIAD booed when Bac Ninh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Viet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Bac Ninh's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nguyễn Thuy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. REAL MARIAD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
