An unexpectedly hard shot by 叶烽国 in the 29th minute of play forced Lao Bao's goalkeeper Phan Duong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score was now 0-4. In the 75thth minute of the game 叶烽国 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lao Bao's Phan Duong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Phan Duong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 叶烽国's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Đoàn Tinh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nguyễn Quang. That made the score 0-5 in the 84 minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Lao Bao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Đoàn Tinh to maneuver through the defense. Đoàn Tinh might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Quang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Đoàn Tinh ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Lao Bao left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than King Kong Hà Nội.
