Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Emiliano Admon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, An Giang's Phan Minh Phượng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phan Binh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Thai Ngudyen booed when An Giang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. An Giang's Phan Minh Phượng got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when Emiliano Admon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Đoàn Thuy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Liem in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes Thai Ngudyen got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hanh. 26 minutes into the match, An Giang's Emiliano Admon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phan Binh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Emiliano Admon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phan Binh. Thai Ngudyen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Admon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 30th minute, Phan Minh Phượng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phan Binh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Emiliano Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Thai Ngudyen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Dung to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Admon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Admon in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phan Binh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Phan Minh Phượng came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the An Giang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phan Minh Phượng couldn't finish the play. When Võ Hoa fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thai Ngudyen's protests and gave Võ Hoa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Thai Ngudyen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Võ Hoa to maneuver through the defense. When An Giang's Emiliano Admon in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rami Ciencabrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Phan Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rami Ciencabrero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Phan Binh. That made the score 0-6 in the 85 minute of play. An Giang played a much better game than Thai Ngudyen and deserved their victory. The Thai Ngudyen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
