Spectators: 10950 (Terracing: 8214, Seating: 2518, VIP seats: 218) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Đỗ Cadeo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Hai Duong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Phuoc to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Đỗ Cadeo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Şenel. Hai Duong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Đỗ Cadeo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Hai Duong fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Hai Duong's Zumar Villabona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Huỳnh Mai hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Trịnh Than shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osman Şenel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Zumar Villabona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huỳnh Mai in the 16th minute of play forced Da Nang Boys's goalkeeper Trịnh Duc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Huỳnh Mai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trịnh Duc. That made the score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. In the 22nd minute Zumar Villabona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trịnh Duc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Hai Duong's Nguyễn Phuoc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Trịnh Duc. Trịnh Duc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Phạm Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Trịnh Than took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osman Şenel. Hai Duong's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Huỳnh Mai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute Đỗ Cadeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Şenel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trịnh Duc came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hai Duong's Zumar Villabona. But to his dismay, Zumar Villabona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 38th minute, Zumar Villabona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Da Nang Boys booed when Hai Duong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ngô Duy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trịnh Than took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osman Şenel. Hai Duong's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hai Duong's Phạm Minh got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Đỗ Cadeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Şenel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zumar Villabona to strike the kick off in the second half. Huỳnh Mai hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Huỳnh Hoang struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Osman Şenel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Da Nang Boys. Huỳnh Mai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trịnh Duc having to interfere. A collision led to Da Nang Boys getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Phạm Van Tai Em hit a great ball. Ngô Tran hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Clarke in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trịnh Duc saved Da Nang Boys from getting behind. Phạm Van Tai Em kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Arthur Clarke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trịnh Duc. Da Nang Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Clarke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ngô Duy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hai Duong's supporters rose to their feet, but Ngô Duy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trịnh Duc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huỳnh Hoang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Osman Şenel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hai Duong were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Da Nang Boys for a fine match.
