When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Placido Paul sped through ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ke Jian Yuan. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nguyễn Thanh was slow to take the kick. During this time Huế's players had a chance to rest. Huế's Belchior Caetano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ke Jian Yuan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nguyễn Duc hit a great ball. Trần Dung took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ke Jian Yuan. ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ke Jian Yuan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Placido Paul sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Huế's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Çelikyay came free, but Lê Binh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hồ Anh Hung was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ. Nguyễn Duc stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lê Binh. 1-1. In the 30th minute, Bianco Orioli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huế's Nguyễn Thanh got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Gheorghe Codreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Placido Paul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huế's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Paul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lê Binh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuralp Çelikyay in the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Paul in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ke Jian Yuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Placido Paul made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ's Ke Jian Yuan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lê Binh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moncho Lozano in the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Huế defense, Ülo Tamberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lê Binh. The Huế fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lê Binh should have stopped the shot. After 62 played minutes ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ got a freekick which was hit by Ülo Tamberg. After having played for 64 minutes, Triệu Anh Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huế's supporters crossed their fingers, but Triệu Anh Hung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Huế's goal looked a bit too open when Moncho Lozano came free, but Lê Binh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ülo Tamberg scored 2-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lê Binh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Ülo Tamberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Huế's Nguyễn Bien got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ülo Tamberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belchior Caetano during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Belchior Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Ülo Tamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Binh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huế's Lê Binh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Huế from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Huế's Placido Paul got a free kick in the 86th minute. Huế's Lê Binh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moncho Lozano in the 88th minute of play. Trần Dung hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Nuralp Çelikyay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Lê Binh made a huge save. When the match was over ĐΔŘҜŇ€ŞŞ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Huế throughout the match.
