Kyriakos Paltoudakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Văn Van Quyen having to interfere. Văn Van Quyen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Chuong went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Nguyễn Chuong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Văn Van Quyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trần Ritchell in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Văn Van Quyen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
