The Da Nang Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 12th minute, Đỗ Cadeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Văn Van Quyen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 17th minute, Nguyễn Thuy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Da Nang Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thuy in the 21st minute of play forced AC Viet Tri 24's goalkeeper Văn Van Quyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Huỳnh Tuan Hoang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Viet Tri 24 and the Da Nang Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, AC Viet Tri 24 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huỳnh Tuan Hoang to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the AC Viet Tri 24 defense, Đỗ Cadeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Văn Van Quyen. The AC Viet Tri 24 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Văn Van Quyen should have stopped the shot. When Nguyễn Thuy came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Da Nang Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Thuy couldn't finish the play. If Nguyễn Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thuy in the 38th minute of play forced AC Viet Tri 24's goalkeeper Văn Van Quyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Văn Van Quyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Thuy, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. AC Viet Tri 24's Văn Van Quyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Teo in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Viet Tri 24's zone, Đỗ Cadeo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Văn Van Quyen came out of the goal and Đỗ Cadeo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Đỗ Cadeo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Văn Van Quyen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Da Nang Boys. Đỗ Cadeo took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Văn Van Quyen. Văn Van Quyen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nghiêm Bien to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Da Nang Boys's Nguyễn Thuy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Văn Van Quyen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The audience cheered loudly when Trịnh Than's long shot in the 58th minute became 0-8 when the ball went to the left of and passed Văn Van Quyen. In the 63rd minute, Nguyễn Xuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Xuan during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Da Nang Boys booed when AC Viet Tri 24 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Xuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Xuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trịnh Duc. Da Nang Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Xuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Lê Phong kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Da Nang Boys booed when AC Viet Tri 24 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Khoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Văn Van Quyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đỗ Cadeo in the 79th minute of the match. AC Viet Tri 24's Văn Van Quyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save AC Viet Tri 24 from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Đỗ Cadeo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Văn Van Quyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Đỗ Cadeo got free with Văn Van Quyen in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trịnh Than fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Văn Van Quyen having to interfere. Đỗ Cadeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Văn Van Quyen made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thuy in the 91st minute of play forced AC Viet Tri 24's goalkeeper Văn Van Quyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AC Viet Tri 24's Văn Van Quyen got control of the ball when Đỗ Cadeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Văn Van Quyen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Thuy went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. Da Nang Boys played a much better game than AC Viet Tri 24 and deserved their victory. The AC Viet Tri 24 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
