Thorvald Mansel might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Euloxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thorvald Mansel ran back to his position shaking his head. Trần Ritchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Trần Ritchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the game, Cole Markwell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dalin the free kick. Cole Markwell hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. FC Dalin's Trần Ritchell got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Roman Euloxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Chuong. Thorvald Mansel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Manchester United's Roman Euloxu got control of the ball when Trần Ritchell tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute Trần Ritchell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Euloxu made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Thorvald Mansel sent off a good shot on target. Thorvald Mansel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roman Euloxu came out and tried to block the shot, but Thorvald Mansel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 38th minute. Manchester United's Cole Markwell got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Cole Markwell off the ground. Cole Markwell hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Chuong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Roman Euloxu made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thorvald Mansel to make the kick off. Kyriakos Paltoudakis was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dalin's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Kyriakos Paltoudakis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roman Euloxu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roman Euloxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Chuong in the 69th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Thorvald Mansel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Euloxu. Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorvald Mansel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 80 minutes into the game, FC Dalin's Trần Ritchell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hoàng Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Natal in the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Trần Ritchell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Euloxu. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Euloxu should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Ritchell came free, but Roman Euloxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Dalin getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Thorvald Mansel hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Florian Dziatkowicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hoàng Tran. That made the score 9-1 in the 94 minute of play.
