Gonçalo Loureiro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahro Krhan in the 51st minute of play forced Poseidon's goalkeeper Mattias Thorsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Geraldo Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Poseidon got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Loureiro. When Claudio Natal came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Natal couldn't finish the play. Poseidon's Mattias Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahro Krhan in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vágner Dias got free with Roman Euloxu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Poseidon's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Natal came free, but Mattias Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poseidon's Evaristo Gaitano got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Evaristo Gaitano off the ground. A collision led to Poseidon getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Evaristo Gaitano hit a great ball. Vágner Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Roman Euloxu made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
