Farhan Lim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hidayat Sarangapani having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chester FC's zone, Hidayat Ching stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hidayat Sarangapani came out of the goal and Hidayat Ching tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hidayat Sarangapani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darren Phua went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Chester FC's Fariz Yi-Sheng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Dhanabalan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Chester FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Chester FC's Anil Hock looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Manchester United fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Manchester United's Hidayat Ching looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Hidayat Sarangapani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Phua in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamir Seng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Dhanabalan. That made the score 3-3 in the 47 minute of play. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hidayat Ching stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gage Hsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Dhanabalan having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Hidayat Ching recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hidayat Sarangapani. Hidayat Ching showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. After 62 played minutes Chester FC got a freekick which was hit by Fariz Yi-Sheng. Hidayat Ching was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Hidayat Ching's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hidayat Sarangapani was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Hamir Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hidayat Sarangapani was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gara Tee. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darren Phua got free with Hidayat Sarangapani in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Anil Hock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rifki Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Darren Phua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hidayat Sarangapani made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Darren Phua sent off a good shot on target. Hidayat Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hidayat Sarangapani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Jonathan Dhanabalan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Darren Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darren Phua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hidayat Sarangapani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hidayat Ching showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 98 minute of play.
